Design Process

1. What is design? 
   Design is a process that you go through before you think about completing what it is you are aiming for (the reason your designing something)
2. Define brief
   lasting or taking a short time
3. Define specifications
   A specification is an explicit set of requirements to be satisfied by a material, product, or service. Should a material, product or service fail to meet one or more of the applicable specifications, it may be referred to as being out of specification; the abbreviation OOS may also be used.

5. What are key stages? 
   Introduced through the Education Reform Act 1988. Learning in maintained and special schools is divided into four periods of learning: key stage 1 covers pupils aged 5 to 7, key stage 2 covers pupils aged 7 to 11, key stage 3 covers pupils aged 11 to 14, key stage 1 covers pupils aged 14
6. Why is it important to do background research before starting a design project?
   so you can get extra info about the topic before you start so you know what your doing or know what to do while your doing the process.
